Cachaça was first distilled in 16th-century Brazil — by enslaved Africans, on the same land that became home to the largest African diaspora outside Nigeria. RAÍZES carries that history forward, produced in partnership with a fifth-generation family producer on the coast of Bahia.
“This is not a Brazilian spirit marketed to the African diaspora. It is a spirit of the African diaspora — finally coming home.”
